Successful installation of a Gilardoni X-ray and Ultrasounds X-BEAM Blood Irradiator

We are thrilled to announce the successful installation of a Gilardoni X-ray and Ultrasounds X-BEAM Blood Irradiator at the Blood and Tissue Establishment at University Hospital Galway!

This project, carried out in collaboration with the incredible team at Gamma-Service Recycling GmbH, involved not only the installation of the X-BEAM but also the seamless removal of their legacy gamma irradiator. Our carefully coordinated efforts ensured minimal downtime, allowing the facility to upgrade to a modern, efficient system without disrupting their critical operations.

This upgrade highlights the growing shift from gamma-based systems to X-ray technology, offering greater safety, reliability, and compliance with evolving regulatory standards.
